I've been going to college online for a little under 3 years now and sometimes, I forget to bookmark a site that I would like to use for my homework. I remember the first time I realized that my husband had a problem was when I searched my history for a website for schoolwork. What popped up astounded me. 300+ sites over a period of 8 hours. At first, I didn't know what to think. I mean, we had watched porn together in the past a few times and I didn't want to come across as a prude. But, then that cold hard ball of pain in my gut hit me and I realized that he had a major problem. I said nothing at first. When I had surgery to have my tubes tied, he did not attend. The night before my operation, I stayed at my parent's house and I remember feeling really alone because I didn't have my husband there to hold me and comfort me. After the surgery, I went home and my suspicion led me to searching the history. Sure enough, he had spent another 8 hours looking at porn while I had laid in bed worrying about the surgery. It hurt SO MUCH. He had said he needed to work because we were struggling financially, but he had gotten off of work early and had sat on the computer looking at other naked men and women. It got much worse over the course of the next month and we almost ended our marriage before our 1st anniversary. We got through it, but again, the month before our 2 year anniversary, he started doing it again and this time, the material was obscene. Again, we have worked through it, but I find myself preparing for next summer or when I go back to work again. All in all, it was an accident that I found his infidelity.
